HONEY-DEW

Honey-dew is a sweet saccharine substance found on the leaves of trees and other plants in small drops like dew. There are two kinds; one secreted from the plants, and the other deposited by aphides. Different kinds of manna are the dried honey-dew or saccharine exudations of certain plants.
