Cestoda (the Cestodes) is a class of Phylum platyhelminthes commonly known as the tapeworms. They are internal parasites lacking an alimentarycanal. They have no definite sense organs, and the nervous system is poorly developed. The cuticle is thick and many-layered. Hooks and/or suckers are limited to one end.
