VULTURE

Vulture is the popular name for any of various Old World birds of prey of the family Accipitridae which for the most part feed on carrion (already dead animals), and generally have a bald head and neck; or several similar species of New World birds of prey of the family Cathartidae. Vultures are generally gregarious, living in groups known as venues, and are agile in flight but clumsy and vulnerable when feeding on the ground.
