JOSIAH BARTLETT

Josiah Bartlett was an American physician and politician. He was born in 1729 at New Hampshire and died in 1795. A member of the Continental Congress, he was one of those that signed the Declaration of Independence. He Chief Justice of New Hampshire and later Democratic-Republican governor of New Hampshire from 1790 until 1794.
