The Tswana are the majority ethnic group living in Botswana. The Tswana are divided into four subgroups: the Bakwena, the Bamangwato, the Bangwaketse, and the Batawana. Traditionally they are rural- dwelling farmers, though many now leave their homes to work as migrant labourers in South African industries.
