Bob Hoskins is an English actor. He was born in 1942 at Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. He landed a job as an actor by accident when he was waiting - drunk - for a friend in the bar of the Unity Theatre and was mistaken for an actor waiting to audition for a part in a play. He was given the leading role.
