JOHN LAURIE

John Laurie was a Scottish actor. He was born in 1897 at Dumfries, Dumfriesshire, Scotland and died in 1980 of emphysema and a lung ailment. He played 'Fraser' in the BBC television series Dads Army as well as appearing in many films, including playing the part of 'Blind Pew' in the 1950 make of ' Treasure Island'.
