Russell Crowe is a New Zealand-born Australian actor, film director and film producer. He was born in 1964 at Wellington. He was first seen by television audiences playing the role of 'Kenny Larkin' in 1987 before moving into films, starring as 'Maximus' in the 2000 film 'Gladiator'.
