Frances Dee (real name may have been Frances Marion Dee, Jean Frances Dee or Jane Dee) was an American actress. Precise details regarding Frances Dee are confused. She was born in 1907, 1908 or 1909 (upon her death her family claimed she was born in 1909) at Los Angeles and died in 2004. At first an uncredited extra in Hollywood films, she established herself playing opposite Maurice Chevalier in the 1930 film 'Playboy of Paris'.
