GINGER ROGERS

Ginger Rogers (real name Virginia Katherine McMath) was an American actress and dancer. She was born in 1911 at Independence, Missouri and died in 1995. Originally a travelling vaudeville dancer, she appeared on Broadway in 1929 and subsequently signed with Paramount Pictures in 1930. She is best remembered for appearing in films with Fred Astaire, with whom she made ten films.
