JULIE ANDREWS

Julie Andrews is an English actress. She was born Julia Elizabeth Wells in 1935 at Walton-on-Thames. She changed her name to Julie Andrews. Her parents were entertainers and Julie began singing lessons with Madame Stiles-Allen when she was eight years old who was very strict with Julie's diction. When Julie turned 12, she was cast in Starlight Roof where she stopped the show on the opening night with her amazing voice and then continued to stop it every other night after. Since then she has gone on to play in films and pantomimes.
