Kate Winslet is an English actress. She was born in 1975 at Reading, Berkshire. Best known for her starring role as 'Rose DeWitt Bukater' in the 1997 film 'Titanic', Kate Winslet's first roles were in television and started in 1990 with an appearance in 'Shrinks' before playing 'Reet' in the 1991 British television series 'Dark Season' before later starring in the 1994 film 'Heavenly Creatures'.
