NITROUS OXIDE

Nitrous oxide (laughing gas) is an odourless, non-explosive analgesic gas. It causes analgesia, delirium and loss of motor control (which makes its use in pregnancy labour rather questionable), elation and excitement. It has a quick action and is used for short operations, such as the removal of teeth.
