The Ballon-Abwehr-Kanonenwagen (BAK) 1906 was a German self-propelled gun developed during the Great War for use against enemy observation balloons. The
BAK 1906 consisted of a commercial truck chassis mounted with a rotating turret armed with a 50 mm cannon. The BAK 1906 was powered by a Ehrhardt 4-cylinder petrol engine rated at 60 hp providing a top road speed of 45 kmh.
