BATTLE OF CHAPIN FARM

The Battle of Chapin Farm was a brief engagement, on September 28th, 1864 during the American Civil War, between small detachments of Federals and Confederates. The Federals came off worse. This battle occurred during the campaign in the vicinities of Richmond and Petersburg.
