BATTLE OF HUBBARDTON

The Battle of Hubbardton was an engagement of the American War of Independence on July the 7th, 1777 during Burgoyne's invasion. The fugitive garrison from Ticonderoga was overtaken by Fraser with 900 men at Hubbardton, Vermont. He was checked until Riedesel, with 1000 men, came up and put the Americans to flight.
