BATTLE OF LONGWOODS

The Battle of Longwoods was an engagement during the War of 1812. An American force under Captain Holmes, while on the way to attack Port Talbot, was attacked by the British on March the 3rd, 1814 at Longwoods, Canada. The American force was forced to flee.
