BATTLE OF MILLIKEN'S BEND

The Battle of Milliken's Bend Louisiana was an engagement of the American Civil War in which a coloured regiment which lay in entrenchments commanded by the Union General Dennis, was destroyed, between June the 6th and 7th, 1863, by a force of 2500 Confederates led by Henry McCulloch.
