BROWNING 1903

The Browning 1903 was a Belgian pistol invented by John Browning in 1903 who sold the rights to Colt to produce it in the USA and to FN to market in the rest of the world. It was produced as a home defence pistol in 7.65 mm calibre and in 9 mm for the military. The 7.65 mm model taking an 8 round magazine and the 9 mm model a 7 round magazine. The Browning 1903 pistol utilised a blowback operation.
