K2 ASSAULT RIFLE

The Daewoo K2 Assault Rifle is a South Korean gas-operated assault rifle chambered for the 5.56 mm x 45 cartridge fed from a standard Armalite AR-15 type 30-round magazine. The rate of fire is selectable as single-shot, three-round burst or fully automatic with a cyclic rate of 800 rounds per minute and has a muzzle velocity of 960 meters-per-second with the M193 cartridge and 920 meters-per-second with the SS109 cartridge.
