The Leopard 1 is a German main battle tank designed in 1957 and entered service in 1965. At the time it was the fastest and most manoeuvrable tank available and was purchased by many other NATO countries. It weighed 40 tonnes, carried a crew of 4 and was armed with a 105 mm main gun. 60 rounds of APFSDS, HEAT and WPammunition were carried and range-finding was usually laser. Research Leopard 1
