The Tokarev TT-33 is a Soviet Browning-type short-recoil single-actionsemi-automatic pistol chambered for the 7.62 mm x 25 Pistol round taken from an 8-round magazine. The Tokarev TT-33 was the standard Soviet pistol of the Second World War, first produced in 1930 and thought to have been based upon the Colt M1911, and produced until the mid-1950s. The Tokarev TT-33 was fitted with a 116 mm long barrel and had an effective range of 50 metres and a muzzle velocity of 420 metres per second and a rate of fire of 35 rounds per minute.
