WALTHER PP

The Walther PP is a German blowback, semi-automatic service pistol introduced in 1929 for uniformed police service. The Walther PP was chambered for the 7.65 mm (.32 ACP), 9 mm Short cartridge, the .22 Long Rifle and some for the 6.35 mm .25 ACP cartridge, took an 8-round magazine and originally had a 85 mm barrel, modified to 99 mm in models made after 1945. The Walther PP had an effective range of 40 metres and a muzzle velocity of 290 metres per second firing the 7.65 mm cartridge.
