AMINES

Amines are compounds derived from ammonia by replacing the hydrogen with one or more alkyls or alcohol radicals; they are primary, secondary or tertiary according to the number of hydrogen atoms replaced. The amines are mostly volatile, and act as bases, forming salts with acids in a similar manner to ammonia.
