PLASTER OF PARIS

Plaster of paris is a form of hemhydrate plaster derived from rock gypsum crushed and heated to a temperature of 170 degrees celsius. This process removes some 75 per cent of the water in the plaster, which when mixed with water sets (hydrates) very quickly.
