The Zlin Z-526 Trener-Master is a Czech two-seat primary trainer aircraft first introduced in 1948. The Zlin Z-526 is a low-wing cantilever monoplane powered by a Walter Minor 6-III six-cylinder inline 160 hp piston engine provides a top speed of 238 kmh and a range of 980 km with fitted drop tanks. In 1969 a new version, the Zlin Z-526F powered by an Avia M137 six-cylinder in-line air-cooled engine providing a top speed of 248 kmh and a maximum standard range of 480 km was introduced. A single-seater version, known as the Zlin Z-526 Akrobat is also produced for aerobatic use.
