Scanners is a sci-fi horror starring Stephen Lack, Jennifer O'Neill, Patrick McGoohan, Lawrence Dane and Charles Shamata in a story about a group of pregnant women who after being given an experimental drug, give birth to mutants with the ability to take over other peoples' minds. Scanners was directed by David Cronenberg in 1980.
