Star Wars is a sci-fi action adventure starring Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Peter Cushing and Alec Guinness in a story about rebels trying to rescue a princess from the evil empire that rules the galaxy. Star Wars was directed by George Lucas in 1977 and was the first of the original 'Star Wars' trilogy of films.
