Tommy is a rock opera starring Roger Daltrey, Oliver Reed, Ann-Margret, Elton John and Eric Clapton in a story about a boy who is rendered deaf and dumb by the sudden reappearance and subsequent murder of his father, but then discovers pinball. Tommy was directed by Ken Russell in 1975.
