CAMPANIA

The Campania was an Atlantic liner steamer of the Cunard Line built in 1893. She was 610 feet long, had a displacement of 12950 tons and a speed of 22 knots, making her Britain's fastest liner at the time. The Campania had accommodation for 900 passengers. During the Great War the Campania was taken for naval service, acting as a seaplane-carrying ship. She sunk in the Firth of Forth after breaking free from her moorings and colliding with a battleship on November the 10th 1918.
