The Probert Encyclopaedia of Ships

MISIONES

The Misiones was a British-built Argentinean Corrientes Class destroyer of 1375 tons displacement launched in 1937. The Misiones was powered by three Admiralty 3-drum type oil fuelled boilers providing a top speed of 35.5 knots. She carried a complement of 130 and was armed with four 4.7-inch guns; eight smaller guns and eight 21-inch torpedo tubes arranged in two quadruples.
