NAVARRA

The Navarra (formerly the Republica and originally known as the Reina Victoria Eugenia) was a Spanish cruiser of 4857 tons displacement launched in 1920 and refitted with amended armament in 1938. The Navarra was powered by eight Yarrow oil-fired boilers providing a top speed of 25.5 knots and a range of 7200 km at 15 knots. She carried a complement of 404 and, in 1940, was armed with six 6 inch guns; four 3.4 inch anti-aircraft guns and four machine-guns.
