REDOUTABLE

The Redoutable was a French Redoutable Class submarine of 1384 tons displacement launched in 1928. She was powered by diesel engines providing a top speed of 19 knots surfaced and electric motors providing a top speed of 10 knots submerged. She carried a complement of 67 and was armed with one 3.9 inch anti-aircraft gun; one 37 mm anti-aircraft gun; one machine gun and eleven 21.7 inch torpedo tubes.
