REPULSE

HMS Repulse was a British Battle cruiser of the Renown Class of 32000 tons displacement launched in 1916. HMS Repulse had a top speed of 31.5 knots and carried a crew of 1205. She was armed with six 15 inch 42 calibre guns; fifteen 8 inch 40 calibre guns; four 4 inch anti-aircraft guns; four 3 pounder guns; one 12 pounder field gun; five machine-guns; two submerged Lewis 21 inch torpedo tubes and four pairs of above-water Lewis 21 inch torpedo tubes. Four aircraft were also carried. HMS Repulse was sunk in December 1941 during action with the Japanese.
