The Probert Encyclopaedia of Ships

SAETTA

The Saetta was an Italian Dardo Class destroyer of 1206 tons displacement launched in 1930. The Saetta was powered by three 3-drum type boilers providing a top speed of 38 knots and carried a complement of 150. She was armed with four 4.7-inch guns; four 37 mm anti-aircraft guns; four 13 mm anti-aircraft guns and six 21 inch torpedo tubes arranged in two triples.
