HMS Stronghold was a British Admiralty S Class destroyer of 905 tons displacement launched about 1918 and sunk off the coast of Java by the Japanese in 1942 during the Second World War. She was armed with three 4-inch guns; five smaller guns and four 21-inch torpedo tubes arranged in pairs. She was powered by three Yarrow oil boilers providing a top speed of 31 knots and carried a complement of 98. Research Stronghold
