HMS Swift was a British destroyer flotilla leader of 2170 tons displacement completed in 1907. She was powered by 30,000 hp engines providing a top speed of 35 knots and was armed with one 6 inch and three 4 inch guns and two torpedo tubes. HMS Swift along with HMS Broke took part with the encounter with German destroyers in the Straits of Dover on April the 20th 1917 during the Great War. Research Swift
