U-29

U-29 was a German sea-going submarine of 500 tons displacement launched in 1936. She had a top speed of 16.5 knots surfaced, 8 knots submerged and carried a complement of 35. Armaments consisted of one 3.5 inch gun; one 1 pdr anti-aircraft guns and five 21 inch torpedo tubes, four in the bow and one in the stern.
