VANITY

HMS Vanity was a British V Class destroyer of 1090 tons displacement launched in 1918. She was armed with four 4-inch guns; one 2-pounder pompom anti-aircraft gun; one machine gun; four Lewis guns and six 21-inch torpedo tubes arranged in two triple mountings added during modifications carried out in 1920. She was powered by three Yarrow oil boilers providing a top speed of 34 knots and carried a complement of 134.
