VIRAGO

HMS Virago was a British Valentine Class destroyer of 1710 tons displacement launched in 1943. HMS Virago was powered by two Admiralty 3-drum type boilers providing a top speed of 34 knots. She was armed with four 4.7 inch guns; four 40 mm anti-aircraft guns; two 20 mm anti-aircraft guns and eight 21-inch torpedo tubes arranged in two quadruples.
