XIAN

The Xian is a Chinese Type 051, Luda Class destroyer of 3250 tons. She carries a complement of 285 including twenty-seven officers, and has a top speed of 32 knots and a range of 8000 km at 14 knots. She is armed with six Fei Lung 2 (Flying Dragon) anti-ship missile launchers arranged as two triple arrangements; four Soviet 130 mm/58 in two twin arrangements guns; eight Chinese 57 mm/70 arranged in four twin guns; eight Chinese 37 mm/63 in four twin arrangements guns; eight Soviet 25 mm/60 in four twin arrangements anti-aircraft guns; two FQF 2500 12-tubed fixed launcher anti-ship mortars; depth charges and mines. Two Harbin Z-9A (Dauphin) helicopters are also carried.
