Agra is a town in Uttar Pradesh, India on the Jumna River. It was founded by Akbar in 1566 and was the capital of the Mogul Empire. Agra is the site of the Taj Mahal mausoleum built by the Emperor Shah Jehan to his favourite queen, and built of white marble.
