Bournemouth is a seaside resort and county borough in Hampshire. It was a small village until the 19th century and it has been growing ever since. Today it has 10 km of sandy bathing beach, 8 km of promenade, and more than 570 hectares of public parks and pleasure gardens. It was home to Robert Louis Stevenson from 1884 to 1887.
