CALYDON

Calydon was an ancient city of Northern Greece, in Aetolia. The city is celebrated in Greek mythology on account of the ravages of a terrible boar. All the princes of the age assembled at the famous Hunt of the Calydonian Boar, which was finally despatched by Meleager.
