CARDIFF

Cardiff is the capital of Wales. It is a port with docks on the Bristol Channel. Originally a Roman fort alongside the river Taff in 1106 it was known as Kairdif, and later a small fishing village in the 19th century, Cardiff has grown into one of the world's busiest coal-exporting ports.
