The Probert Encyclopaedia of Places of the World

CHENAB

Chenab is a river of Hindustan. It is one of the five rivers of the Punjab. It rises in the Himalayan ranges of Kashmir, and entering the Punjab near Sialkot, flows in a south-westerly direction until it unites with the Jehlam; length about 800 miles.
