Colorado is a west central state of the USA. It is so called from its coloured ranges, and was proclaimed a state in 1876.

The Colorado is a river in Texas, USA which rises in the north-west part of the state, flows generally south-east, and after a course of about 900 miles falls into the Gulf of Mexico at the town of Matagordo.

Colorado is a township in Lincoln County, Kansas, USA.
