COWES

Cowes (formerly West Cowes, and earlier West Cow) is a town and seaport on the north shore of the Isle of Wight. It has a fine and well sheltered habour. It is host to the Royal Yacht Squadron and holds an annual regatta known as Cowes Week in August.
