DACIA

Dacia was a region of ancient Europe, north of the Danube occupied by the Daci Getae, and then later a Roman province. It was conquered by the emperor Trajan in 101 AD, but in 274 AD, in the reign of Aurelian, had to be abandoned by the Roman colonists.
