DNIEPER

The Dnieper is a river in Russia. It rises in Smolensk and flows first south-west, then south-east, and latterly again south-west 2250 km south to the Black Sea east of Odessa. Among its tributaries are the Beresma, the Pripet, the Desna and the Psiol.
